Hi there. Today’s July 30th, 2026. And I’m happy to be publishing the next set of songs using Sunno. Before I highlight the three songs for today’s episode, there are a few things that I’d like to spotlight just to provide some context behind my recent decision-m. Since the last episode back on June 14th, 2026, I have been actively listening and taking notes on areas to improve on. And as a result, I have decided to add a little more style. And more importantly, I have decided to break a fundamental rule that I carefully follow across all of my creative projects. For this specific audio series, I will be sharing the key messages behind the songs.

 

This is completely opposite of what I typically do because I always add a balanced level of vagueness just to keep things open to interpretation. But things are a little different in this audio sphere or audio space. Uh and I say uh I specifically say audio because there are no visuals to hide things. Plus, I am not fully involved in creating the songs. And what That being said, these things will be corrected in time with practice and experience. So, this is just a temporary solution to keep things a little more interesting. I hope you enjoy this early experimental phase as I continue to explore new changes every now and then.

 

Now, moving on to the new section of the show called um Current Beats. This section is meant to provide a snippet of the behind-the-scenes work before this episode was drafted and published. As uh as I mentioned earlier, I have been actively listening to the previous episode as well as brainstorming on ways to start adding my creativity to the songs.

 

The strategies that I came away with was to select a number of songs that have strong messaging and unique beats. After selecting these songs, I conducted a thorough research on each of them, breaking everything down from the lyrics, historical context, main themes, and beat composition. Shortly after, I developed a spreadsheet that listed and connected everything about the songs. This provided me with enough data to develop a visual chart that gave me a direction and a method to create my own type of creative songs. Okay, now moving on with today’s song. The first song I would like to focus on is called Hidden Frequencies. This was based on a common theme that routinely came up in my visual charts of songs. This is basically when relationships become too comfortable and familiar. There is a tendency for partners to become emotionally disconnected, often relying on assumptions, habits, and silence instead of honesty.

 

This song follows a couple who talk without expressing what they truly feel. The guy repeats safe and familiar words to avoid rejection while the girl hides her disappointment through polite replies, revealing it through her tone and body language. Enjoy.

 

Song #1: Hidden Frequencies

Neverson: Hidden frequency hidden frequencies. Now, I really like this song and how it depicts a romantic relationship that is falling apart because both partners are just playing their familiar scripts to avoid rejection and the unknown.

 

Now, although the story focuses on a romantic relationship, I do think that the message extends far beyond that. For example, the same patterns can be found in friendship, workplaces, and even within ourselves. Whenever we choose comfort over honesty, we begin communicating familiar scripts that comes with the expected outcomes. But this also creates walls that makes it difficult to honestly connect with each other. The key takeaway here is to be mindful that meaningful relationships are are sustained not by saying the right things, but by creating enough trust to speak the honest ones.

 

Okay, this next song is called called Pedestal Falls. It is based on a reoccurring theme that came up uh on the concept of hidden struggle. More specifically, people who appear strong, dependable, and capable, they might actually be the ones struggling more than what people realize because they had it so well. Those around them may never see the signs of fatigue or need of support. Uh so, this song follows Jamal, a boy who grew up caring for his younger brother while watching his mother working crazy hours to keep the family together. At school, he admires Miss Carol, a teacher he sees almost like a real life superhero until he later discovers that she had been hiding struggles of her own. Through these experiences, Jamal learns that strength is not about carrying everything alone, but allowing others to see the truth and help share the weight. Enjoy.

 

Song #2 – Pedestal Falls

Neverson: Wow!! What can I say about this song? It’s really an eye-opener because it shows how we unintentionally contribute to trapping people into worlds with high expectations which slowly buries them with the stress and obligations to maintain them. The key takeaway here is to be mindful of the expectations we place on others and create enough trust for people to admit when they’re tired, overwhelmed, and in need of support.

 

Okay, the last final song for this episode is called Moving Target. One of the reoccurring theme that kept coming up was how the beauty standards quietly changes a person’s sense of identity, especially when acceptance, attention, and opportunity seem connected to appearance. The problem here is that these standards are connected to a person’s self-worth. And unfortunately, society is always changing the standard, making it impossible to ever feel secure or at the very least satisfied. The song follows Jasmine, a girl who grows up confident in herself because her parents taught her her that her self-worth couldn’t be measured by a mirror. Unfortunately, a beast thing became the symbolic moment when outside expectations began entering her mind. Compliments, social media, and the reaction of others gradually taught her that she receives more attention when she changes herself to fit the ideal standard. Jasmine then begins dieting, exercising a lot, and just altering her appearance, only to discover that every time she reached the ideal target, society moved it somewhere else. Through her struggles, she eventually recognized how much she had sacrificed for approval and began reclaiming the values and confidence she once had. Now, the song Moving Target is about breaking free from an impossible beauty standard and realizing that personal worth should never depend on being chosen, praised, or being seen by others. Song #3 – Moving Target

Neverson: And there you have it. Moving target. I believe that the key takeaway here is self-explanatory just given the fact that there are so many songs about challenging the beauty standards. As someone who is not a female and has not lived through the same pressure, I approached it or I approached this song using Spider-Man’s relationship with the symbiote or better known as Venom. It shows an outside force gradually influencing someone’s thoughts, behavior, and a sense of control. I use the beasting to represent the moment something foreign enter Jasmine’s mind. Um the influence of outside voices, the desire to feel, the desire to be seen and validated, and then the gradual replacement of our own independent thoughts with society with society’s expectations. I believe that’s it I had for this song.

 

Now, to conclude today’s episode, I’m very happy with the songs that were developed. I believe the quality of the songs and the messaging behind them reflects to my increased contributions and the new creative methods that I have been developing. As previously mentioned, my goal with this audio show is to gradually usually take control over the entire creative process. Since then, I have done extensive research and built a library of notes along with a visual charts that identifies recurring themes and patterns. For this specific episode, I used the recurring themes to decide on which songs to develop. I then used my research notes to draft each story before using Suno to help generate the lyrics and music. I also became much more involved this time around by revising the generated lyrics. Experimented with several songs song styles and generated multiple versions and took the time to carefully listen to curate the final songs you heard today.

 

I’m excited to see where the next set of songs will take me and how I will apply what I’ve learned. So, I can’t wait. So, until then, take care.
