Hi there, my name is Neverson Forest and I would like to welcome you to this new series, Flames of Influence. Today’s date is April 27th, 2026 and I’m really excited to bring this series into my audio channel, Seven Wonders Ventures. I actually developed this series a long time ago with the idea of it being a video series where I would review influential movies and video games that have played a huge impact in my artistic vision. I would also take notes on things that I can apply into my own projects, whether it’s video, art, and audio. Unfortunately, this video series has uh a heavy list of visual effects per episodes. So, it requires a large amount of time and effort, which I don’t have. So, without a solid foundation in place, it was very difficult to commit to a video series. But seeing the results of the uh audio shows that I’ve recently created, it provides a great opportunity for me to finally get this series off the ground and eventually introduce a video version. And with that being said, I feel like by focusing primarily on the audio first, it will help me to advance my audio design skills to another level, which means more cinematic and immersive experiences. Each of the episodes will significantly complement and elevate the video version of this show, as well as reduce the completion time.

Now, to give you a bit of information on the format and style of this new series, it would include me as the reviewer and commentator and my assistant NIA as the narrator. Given the fact that the format of this new series is completely new, it is subject to change as it will undergo a number of changes as I look to improve and find its unique signature and identity. My goals for this show are to increase my skills in several areas like observational learning. This means sharpening my ability to notice uh subtle details on the plot, character development, magic systems, and key messages and many other. Additionally, I’ll be looking forward to improve my animation and special effects skills. This means recreating scenes and experimenting with different visual styles and pushing the limits of what I can do with the tools I currently have.

As for the schedule of this series, it will be similar to the other shows like Echoes of a Story, The Calligraphers Archive, and Questions and Confessions. This means a random schedule consisting of an episode or two every other week. But I’m not committing to anything because these episodes are nothing but small projects that don’t require deadlines to keep things moving forward. The length of the episodes will be as short as I can make them. This is to keep my focus on the central points of the summary and key scenes.

And uh before I close this episode, I want to highlight that while this show will have both audio and video versions, they won’t be identical. Each version will offer a different experience. For example, when I react to the audio version, my thoughts and emotions will be more immediate in a way that uses my memory and imagination to make my points. Whereas in the video version, my points will most likely come from the visuals since I’ll be well familiar with the summary from the audio episode. So don’t expect a duplicate. Instead, see each version as a unique take. And now to sum up today’s episode, I am very happy to get this series off the ground in the audio space because my previous approach held me back from any real progression and and exploration. Cuz at the end of the day, my overall goal is to become a storyteller with a generalist skill set, which means having a number of skills across multiple mediums or creative mediums with no specialization or mastery. Every episode will be a step forward in laying the foundation to get me closer to my goal . Using this series and others as a practice space, as a guide, and a way to refine my creative skills . So, if you’re excited as I am, stay tuned and let’s see what these influential movies and video games leads me to learn and create . So, until next time, take care.
