What will you create?
Neverson: So today’s date is September 25th, 2025. As per usual, I’ll start with project updates. I’m still working on episode one of the gravitation idea series. I now have some time off from work, so I’ll be able to make some significant progress before my vacation ends. If all things goes according to plan, then there’s a potential that I’ll finish by late November or December. I’m saying this being mindful of the fact that I’ve been bad at predicting accurate completion dates for some of these projects. Um, that being said, whatever the completion date is, I’ll continue pushing forward towards the finish line. So, stay tuned.
With regards to journal updates, I’ve successfully added the podcast series to the Apple podcast application. All the episodes are now available and it links back to my Patreon account. I’m still trying to figure out if non-Patreon members can still access the podcast without being subscribed to my Patreon account. For example, um if they’re provided with the RSS feed, can they freely add add the podcast to their application of choice? I don’t know. Uh I don’t have any any issues with non-patron members freely accessing the podcast. All the episodes are currently listed for free on my website. My Patreon simply serves as a platform for support and hosting the podcast itself. My intentions are to keep all of my content free and also provide a platform where people can donate to support. While this is not my final approach, I’ll continue to find ways to spread the word and make improvements when and where necessary. And I guess that’s about it for general updates.
Now, With today’s topic, I wanted to stay close to the previous topics almost as if you’re just about to start creating art. And I say art because it includes a lot of things. So today’s episode is called what will you create. I wanted to focus on this particular question because it’s very important to understand what you will create and why. It’s easy to imagine what you can be based on the people you like and aspire to be. But just like you, there are many others with similar or even identical aspirations. In most cases, aspiring artists like yourself will attempt to replicate the path of of your ideal artists while limiting your unique identity and perspective. While some of you may find success, the rest of you will be left stranded in a saturated field with little to no differences. So, with that being said, I wanted to take the time to provide some suggestions to help you figure out your what and why.
So, before I started posting my work online, I spend a lot of time studying the things I really like, not people. because I don’t know them personally. When I was ready to start posting my work online, one of the key decisions I made was to bring my own story into my art. Um, I understand that everyone has a unique perspective that resonates with others, no matter how niche it may be. I also understand that at the core, everyone wants to feel heard, understood, accepted, seen, and loved. So, no matter what you what art you create, uh you’ll likely touch on these universal desires, making it relatable to others.
So, if you’re anything like me, it’s natural to feel a bit overwhelmed to start because our interests can be very fast. Uh to figure out what’s truly personal to you, think about the topics or experiences that spark a deep passion or emotional response. Reflect on what frustrates you and what you think can be improved.
These things are often the areas where you discover more about your interests and things to uh explore uh further on. Um while it’s important to start with your internal interests first, First, always remember to remain open-minded and flexible because your interests will grow and evolve with time.
So, to sum this episode up, my advice is to aim to create the things you want to see. Your perspective is truly unique since no one else can express the world through your your voice, your vision and experiences. And at the end of the day, everyone carries the desires to be heard, understood, accepted, seen, and loved. So, your art will connect with others as long as it’s honest and true to who you are.
I believe that’s it for me. So until next time, take care.
